On behalf of the symposium organizing committee, we would like to invite you to the fifth Shanghai International Nanotechnology Cooperation Symposium (SINCS 2011), to be held in Shanghai, P. R. China, between October 30 and November 1, 2011. This event is co-sponsored by the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality (STCSM), Shanghai Academy of Science and Technology (SAST) and Australia Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

SINCS 2011 offers a unique forum for participants from R&D, industry, venture capitalist and government policy makers to forge international collaborations, to develop new technology opportunities, to meet new technology challenges, and to deliver social and economic benefits from nanotechnology. The SINCS 2011 will include oral and poster sessions. The Cross-Boundary Cooperation (“3C”) Session is a very special part of the SINCS.

Accepted papers will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Nano-Micro Letters（NML）or the Journal of Nano Biomedicine and Engineering (NBE). You are kindly recommended to visit the conference website for additional information: http://www.snpc.org.cn/SINCS2011/index.asp
