Professor Minbo Lan of applied chemistry, as vice director of Department of Science and Technology; director of Centre of Analysis and Testing and vice dieector of Nanotechnology R&D Center, works at East China University of Science and Technology. He has considerable experience on the organic functional materials, Languire ¨C Blodgett technique dealing with application and formulation and application of nanomaterials in the area of electron paramagnetic resonance and oxygen sensing (oximetry). He had held visiting fellowships in Japan and Belgium and since 2001 has been Professor of Applied Chemistry at the East China University of Science and Technology. He has also been Chief Scientist of the Shanghai Nanotechnology Promotion Centre, has more than 40 publications in the general area of functional materials and application, their formulation and application and currently collaborates with the Australia, Belgium, Japan, UK, Russia and Germany in the areas of EPR biosensing, new materials, organic nanotechnology and surface functional films. |
