Professor Shi Liyi, got his Ph.D degree in East China University of Scince & Technology in 1999, is major in Chemical Engineering and New Material. He is the vice director of Nan-Science & Technology Research Center of Shanghai University (NRCSU), vice general manager of National Science & Technology Park of Shanghai University, and general manager of Shanghai Shanghui Nano-Science & Technology Co. Ltd. Several nanosized materials such as titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, photocatalytic material (including powder, sol and paints etc.), anti-bacterial powder and anti-static powder have been produced in industrial scale, and have been applied in high quality paints, chemical fibers, plastic, cosmetics, etc. The preparation and application of carbon nanotubes have also been studied. Several projects have been supported by National High-tech Project (863 Project), Shanghai Nano-Science & Technology Special Project, and Shanghai Light Science & Ttechnology Special Project. About 70 papers have been published, and 14 patents have been submitted. |
