By surface modification, the nano porous aerogels was dried at ambient pressure. The silica aerogels density is between 100Kg/m3 and 150Kg/m3, the mean pore size 15nm, the thermal tolerance 1000K, the thermal conductivity 0.02W/mK at room temperature and 0.04W/mK at 800K. Compared with the critical drying process, the coat is greatly lowered.

This nano-superconductor composite is fabricated by mixing nano-ceramic particles with higher temperature superconductor powder of YBCO, than the mixture grinded and sintered in the oven. The new superconductor has some potential applications for magnetic levitation, magnetic resonation imagine (MRI), and microwave devices.

A kind of novel antibacterial material was produced by ion exchange method. It is more season-adjustable, safe, and lasting in effect and well dispersed in water and organic solvents. With special treatment, it can be easily adapted to other materials without affecting their features. It can be widely used as an additive to fiber, plastic, dope, ceramic glaze, paper, etc, and can add new anti-bacterial function to them.

A kind of novel materials for bone defects repair and dental root canal filling. Characterized with easy shaping and handling, excellent biocompatibility and osteoconductivity, suitable biodegradability, this ideal and novel bone substitute can be applied extensively into many fields, including orthopedics, neuro-surgery, plastic surgery, and dentistry, etc.
